Job Positions
To support its progressive growth and build the organizational capability, Eni in Indonesia is inviting candidates who possess relevant education background, experience and competencies to join our company. We are looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative and integrity to fill in the following positions.Telecom Engineer
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:- Collaborate with related department team to assess near- and long-term telecom infrastructure need
- Create and maintain documentation related to telecom equipment and service records.
- Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for telecom infrastructure including policy and operational license
- Design and deploy county Telecom infrastructure, including PA/GA, CCTV, Microwave Radio system, Trunking Radio System, Marine/Airband Radio, GMDSS, Industrial Control System Security (PLC / SCADA / DCS), Access Control System, Entertainment System, Navigation System, Helideck Monitoring System, etc
- Conduct research on telecom products, services and standards to remain well-informed of developments in the oil & gas industry
- Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware and firmware upgrades.
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers and contractors to enhance telecom products and services.
- Performs a wide variety of installation, configuration and upgrading of Telecommunication system (PAGA, CCTV, Microwave, VSAT, Trunking Radio, Marine Radio, Aeronautical Radio, WiMAX, Entertainment System, GMDSS, etc.).
- Provides investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/resolution of system, hardware, software and infrastructure.
- Manages and continuously improves/enhances the operations of existing Telecom infrastructure
- Manages system documentation
- Maintains company assets and contracts for all related services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Degree in technical discipline or Telecom/Computer engineering technology or related
- Required Experience: 5+ years of experience in similar position, preferably in the Oil and gas Industries.
- Languages: Indonesian (fluent), English (fluent)
Knowledge, Technical, and Professional Skills:
- Updated general knowledge of enterprise scale infrastructure systems technology.
- CCNA/CCNP Certified would be an advantage
- MS Windows, MS Office Linux Operating System, LAN, WAN, etc
Required Competencies:
- Customer services oriented, good customer relationship, listening skill and good courtesy
- Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking
- The incumbent shall have cooperative, honest and confident attitude and respond quickly to customers’ requests for information or assistance
- Manage flexibility and able to adapt quickly to the work environment
- Passionate for IT technology
