Genting Oil Kasuri Pte. Ltd (GOKPL) is a company in the energy sector which is a subsidiary of the Genting Group, a leading multinational company in Malaysia. Indonesian Government awarded GOKPL to operate Kasuri Working Area on May 27 2008. From 2008 to 2015, GOKPL had been drilling at 10 exploration wells and processing 2D and 3D seismic acquisitions. On February 8, 2023, revision of POD 1 was approved to develop Asap, Kido, and Merah Fields. AKM Field development will be carried out in 4 stages. Gas will be produced in Q4 2025 for Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) and Q1 2028 for Ammonia and Urea (Amurea) Plant.

Job Summary:

2. Production Operators (4 positions)

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment and systems at our upstream oil and gas facilities. This includes monitoring and controlling production processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and monitor day-to-day process activities and work teams job assignments in accordance with Offshore and Onshore Operations requirements to ensure plant unit availability, reliability, and safety in compliance with the Company rules, policies, guidelines and statutory requirements.

  • Monitor, propose and minimize Unit Production Cost through evaluation of the maintenance activities effectiveness and optimize management of critical spares and materials to avoid wastage and optimize an effective overtime.
  • Analyze and resolve operational issues and concerns (e.g. Well head, Pigging, BS&W, Field Improvement Proposal, etc.) by collaborating with offshore and onshore support departments (e.g. Production Department, Well Services Department etc.) to ensure maximum uptime of the field/terminal to achieve the Production target.
  • Plan and coordinate production optimization through consolidation of planned shutdown and well planning of resources and activities to ensure timely and safe execution of works so as to ensure improvement to the production and process performance.

  • Implement the new technology/upgrading/improvement proposal in field/terminal operations to enhance production performance and facilities uptime through identification, evaluation and effective implementation.

Genting Oil Kasuri Pte. Ltd (GOKPL) is a company in the energy sector which is a subsidiary of the Genting Group, a leading multinational company in Malaysia. Genting Group is carrying out major expansion in the energy sector, especially oil and gas through the Genting Oil & Gas company which operates in China and Indonesia. GOKPL is located in Teluk Bintuni and Fakfak districts, West Papua.

Indonesian Government awarded GOKPL to operate Kasuri Working Area on May 27 2008. From 2008 to 2015, GOKPL had been drilling at 10 exploration wells and processing 2D and 3D seismic acquisitions. On February 8, 2023, revision of POD 1 was approved to develop Asap, Kido, and Merah Fields. AKM Field development will be carried out in 4 stages. Gas will be produced in Q4 2025 for Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) and Q1 2028 for Ammonia and Urea (Amurea) Plant.

Planner & Reporting

We’re urgently hiring for Planner & Reporting (Third Party Contract)

Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including critical path, milestone, and key deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and other teams to ensure accurate schedule inputs and updates.
  • Identify schedule deviations and delays, and propose mitigation plans to keep the project on track.
  • Prepare reports to meet internal (GOKPL) and external (SKKMIGAS and other stakeholders) reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the review and updating of the project's baseline schedule and alignment with project changes.  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Project Management with 10-15 years' experience. 
  • Possesses knowledge of project planning and scheduling methods, including CPM (Critical Path Method) and PDM (Precedence Diagram Method).
  • Familiar with the phases of an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project.
  • Understanding of internal and external reporting systems (including SKKMIGAS).
  • Proficient in planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word (Microsoft Office).
  • Strong data analysis and progress reporting skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and coordination abilities.
  • Capable of preparing accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Able to work effectively under project deadline pressure.
