1. Production Chemistry Engineer

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Define and manage production chemistry programs related to fluids from well face to export.
- Assist in providing efficient allocation of Production Chemistry support.
- Contribute to defining regional production chemistry strategy and develop annual plans with associated budgets.
- Contribute in managing Chemical Managed Services Contracts, Laboratory Services Contracts, and other contracts involved in Production Chemistry support.
- Support the implementation of the Central/Region’s Self Verification processes.
- Establish procedures for field and analytical processes before execution.
- Help deploying Production Chemistry related Functional tools (e.g., LIMS, CMS) and ensure they are used uniformly.
- Support continuous improvement of Production Chemistry Risks through performance management of the Regional Production Chemistry Dashboard.
- Ensure that lessons learned in Production Chemistry are recorded and integrated into specifications, practices, or workflows.
- Manage a team of direct reports where applicable, including CMS & Laboratory personnel, and related contracted personnel, promoting suitable behaviours for success, fostering continuous improvement, and providing performance management, technical development, and coaching.
- Participate in Community of Practice Meetings.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Has University degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Science or a related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position. Experience more than 5 years in a similar position may apply but joined with lower grade.
- Extensive knowledge of various production chemistry techniques and methodologies
- Good communication skills and fluent in English both written and verbally
- A willingness and drive to continue to learn and to self-improve.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Having professional accreditation (e.g. Chartered Chemist/Engineer, Professional Chemist/Chemical Engineer) would be an advantage.
- Experienced in defining, selecting, and monitoring chemical applications for LNG Plant & its Utilities operations, from well to point of sale, including waste treatment.
- Skilled in managing Laboratory equipment, sampling, and analysis of Gas & Liquid hydrocarbons, Utility water, Wastewater (Domestic and Produced Water), and other related fluids.
- Proficient with Software Application (Microsoft office etc.) and Production Chemistry Functional Tools (LIMS, CMS, Scale simulation etc.).
- Eligible for Indonesian national applicants only.
2. Production Technicians

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Deliver safe, compliant, reliable operations ensuring that BP HSSE and Operating Discipline expectations are met.
- Monitor and control equipment and process and ensure that facility operations remain within the parameters stated in the Operations Manual/Procedures and communicate to the site leadership any deviation.
- Optimize plant and equipment performance and where options for plant optimization exist ensure they are raised with the site leadership and Operations Support team.
- Safe and efficient execution of operating tasks. (Comment: Operations routines, SOPs, basics care etc.)
- Comply with all process safety aspects of operations and identify any gaps to compliance and seek approval. (Comment: Including SOPs, MOC,ORA, overrides, LO/LC valves, leaks and seeps, handovers, etc.)
- Deliver full compliance with all Control of Work requirements for the role.(Comment: Prepare and implement isolations, perform monitoring, integrity and pre start-up checks, process line-ups, reinstatement after maintenance, etc.)
- Maintain an awareness of the site major risks and ongoing operational risks and informs site leadership of any emergent risks.
- Identify CI opportunities and participate in root cause failure investigations as required.
- Review work procedures as required ensuring accuracy of procedures used to operate plant and equipment.
- Provide operations input to operations planning, projects and TAR preparation as well as supporting vendors and visitors as required.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS :
- S1 or D3 technical degree majoring chemical / mechanical / gas / electrical / instrument
- Working experience in Oil & Gas
- Petrochemical company such as LNG Plant, Petrochemical and Refinery min 6 years for S1 and 8 years for D3
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings such as PID/PFD - Possesses fundamental skills in conducting hazard analysis within operational environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in plant operations, with preference given to experience in LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) facilities.
- Strongly encourage applications from candidates with a Papuan indigenous background.
