Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited (abbreviated as “HCML”) is one of the Production Sharing Contracts (PSC) of Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business (SKK Migas), Ministry of Energy & Minerals, as a representative of the Government of Republic of Indonesia to conduct exploration and exploitation of Oil & Gas in Madura Strait.
HCML was formerly known as Husky Oil (Madura) Limited (“HOML”). As the operator of Madura Strait, HCML is currently owned by Husky Oil Madura Partnership (“HOMP”), CNOOC South East Asia Limited (“CNOOC”), and SMS Development Limited (“Samudra”).

To support its growth and operations, we are looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative and integrity to fill in the following positions.
1. Junior Geologist
Job Descriptions:
Responsible to conduct, compile, and analyze company performance data from task forces, facilitating accurate and timely data reporting, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to realize business objectives to maintain competitive advantage and allocate resources appropriately to support all HCML operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Geology and other related geoscience disciplines Entry-level to early-career Geologist position, with 1–3 years of work experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Experienced in exploration and development geological works
- Evaluate, perform or support comprehensive geological analysis, including petroleum system assessment and wells logs evaluation, also provide good documentation from the results work.
- Advanced in applying analytical thinking, evaluating risks and uncertainties, and interpreting data with accuracy.
- Familiar with Geological application software (Petrel, RokDoc, IP, Geolog, Hampson Russell or similar tools).
- Proficient in performing effective communication and coordination in executing technical support responsibilities within the Subsurface Department, including engagements with HCML shareholders and SKK Migas.
2. Well Integrity Engineer
Job Descriptions:
Responsible to conduct, compile, and analyze company performance data from task forces, facilitating accurate and timely data reporting, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to realize business objectives to maintain competitive advantage and allocate resources appropriately to support all HCML operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical or other related Engineering disciplines.
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in drilling& Completion and well intervention Function in Oil& Gas Industry.
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in drilling and completion, or well intervention on-site activities.
- Familiarity with ISO, API, NORSOK, and NACEMR0175/ISO 15156 standards for HPHT and sour gas well environmental.
- Have experience in well integrity & compliance, well integrity monitoring & risk management, annulus pressure management, temperature and pressure logging, corrosion monitoring, gas migration and wellhead & Xmas tree integrity.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with drilling, completion, production, maintenance and HSE teams. Strong leadership and project management skills for well integrity initiatives.
- Technical support on well integrity-related workovers, well intervention, and well P&A activities.
- Data analysis (analyze pressure, annulus fluid behavior, and production data to detect anomalies and integrity concerns) and Digital well integrity management (experience in well integrity software).
- IWCF Level 3 (Well control, IADC, Equivalence requirement) certification is preferable Conduct periodic well integrity audits and prepare technical reports for stakeholders.
