Genting Oil Kasuri Pte. Ltd (GOKPL) is a company in the energy sector which is a subsidiary of the Genting Group, a leading multinational company in Malaysia. Genting Group is carrying out major expansion in the energy sector, especially oil and gas through the Genting Oil & Gas company which operates in China and Indonesia. GOKPL is located in Teluk Bintuni and Fakfak districts, West Papua.
Indonesian Government awarded GOKPL to operate Kasuri Working Area on May 27 2008. From 2008 to 2015, GOKPL had been drilling at 10 exploration wells and processing 2D and 3D seismic acquisitions.
On February 8, 2023, revision of POD 1 was approved to develop Asap, Kido, and Merah Fields. AKM Field development will be carried out in 4 stages. Gas will be produced in Q4 2025 for Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) and Q1 2028 for Ammonia and Urea (Amurea) Plant.

Operation Production Engineer
Department : Production
Direct Report to : Production Superintendent
Job Summary:
Responsible for the supervision, planning, and implementation of all production activities in overall AKM Production Facility to ensure production operations meet applicable standards and procedures, COMPANY requirement and constraints as well as handling critical production operations.
Responsibility:
- Providing positive leadership encouraging teams and team members to be a part of, and contribute to, the objectives of the organization
- Monitoring and controlling all hydrocarbon production and utility systems as well as ensuring that production targets are achieved as defined in Operation Departments KPI 3. Providing full logs and reports on handover for back to back basis to ensure the best flow of information and experience.
- Supporting and providing well testing of production wells requested by Production Engineer and providing result of regular Critical Function Test on SCSSV of wellhead using API Standard.
- Ensuring that all plant, processes and equipment are functioning efficiently, with any failure of safety critical elements to meet the performance standards to be reported immediately to Production Superintendent.
- Coordinating activities relating to Hydrocarbon processing and utility systems in accordance with applicable Permit To Work System and associated procedures.
- Proposing and initiating production operation change through Production Superintendent on equipment or control system within applicable standard to enhance production efficiency and reduce resources using Management of Change (MOC) Procedure

External : SKK Migas, Contractor
Qualifications:
- Experience : Have experience in Oil and Gas operations minimum for 12 years Operation/Production Engineer or equivalent in onshore Oil and Gas facilities.
- Qualification : Minimum education is Si graduate in Petroleum or Chemical engineering.
