1. Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description:
  • Report to a senior engineer appointed by Department Head
  • Perform technical assignments with supervision
  • Assist Site Manager or Lead Project Engineer on routine and most non-routine field projects
  • Assist in planning and co-ordinating field investigations covering budget monitoring and job schedule
  • Assign laboratory tests and monitor progress through the laboratory
  • Evaluate field and lab test data, and develop foundation soil parameters
  • Produce field, laboratory and engineering reports for final review by senior staff
  • Assist other professionals with technical training, proposals, invoices and marketing
  • Assist senior engineers in related project administrative tasks
  • Perform other engineering related operations as and when required
  • Ensure that field projects meet HSE requirements.


2. Technician


Job Descriptions:
  • Report to Laboratory Manager / Laboratory Coordinator
  • Carry out laboratory tests and provide results of the soil samples taken from on-shore or offshore
  • Assist Project Manager and Engineer with onboard routine test result and data processing
  • Ensure traceability and proper handling of soil samples
  • Mobilise and demobilise equipment for projects
  • Perform inventory and maintenance check
  • Ensure the process conforms to customer, statutory and management system requirements
  • Perform other Laboratory related operations as and when required.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests on vessel during offshore soil investigation.
  • Willing to work on vessel for offshore site investigation work.

Job Requirements:
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering / Geology / Geotechnical Engineering
  • Relevant experience in soil testing industry
  • Good analytical ability, organizational and time management skills
  • Self-driven, possess excellent team spirit and good interpersonal skills
  • Preferably proficient in MS office applications
  • Willing to travel.


3. Purchaser (1 Year Contract)

Job Description:
  • Source, assess, qualify, develop & manage suppliers to support the operation of fleets.
  • Assessment of current and potential suppliers in terms of supplier's technical competence and commercial risks
  • Manage the purchasing of technical goods and services according to the standards, policy and procedures.
  • Purchase consumables, parts, fuel, lubricating oil and services etc for the vessels in accordance with the Fleet Management system;
  • Effectively manage RFQ, price inquiries, quotations, negotiation, purchase orders and contracting out assignments;
  • Select and continuously evaluate suppliers, contractors and other service suppliers;
  • Ensure that materials are delivered to your vessels in the most efficient manner, in good condition and within the agreed time limit, and effectively deal with any returns.

Requirements:
  • We are looking for a tactical buyer who has purchasing running through their veins and who:
  • Minimum Diploma holder with 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Possess knowledge of the Maritime market and with own network preferred
  • Enjoys negotiating and making contracts
  • Works independently and pro-actively
  • Demonstrates ownership and has a sense of responsibility
  • Can work fast and accurately at operational level
  • Has a helicopter view
  • Is convincing, adaptable and persistent
  • Is highly service-minded, both to internal and to external customers.
  • Has a background in Technical Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
